Our Team
Stephanie Forbes CIC, CPIW, AINS, AFIS
Stephanie has been an insurance agent and consultant for over 35 years. She is experienced in both Personal and Commercial insurance lines. She has received multiple industry designations. Stephanie has assisted in developing 13 new independent insurance agencies over her career and contributed to the continuance and growth of several existing agencies. She specializes in clients ranging from large national accounts, municipalities, professional offices and retail operations to the construction and service industries. She is a specialist in captive insurance programs, construction wrap up policies, and bonding. Stephanie has been an active member of the International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP) for over 30 years and has served on and chaired multiple committees on the board including President of the local association. She received the award for Insurance Professional of the Year for the Boise association in 2014, and Insurance Professional of the year for the Northwest Region in 2015.
Stephanie is a native of Idaho and enjoys camping, fishing, swimming, dancing and spending time with her 3 children and 6 grandchildren. She plays bass guitar and sings in a local country rock band, Sweet Briar.
Some of her community involvement has included serving on the Advisory Board for the Meridian Senior Center and as an Art Commissioner for the City of Meridian. She is a 2003-2004 graduate of Leadership Meridian.

Jeremy Barnes
Jeremy Barnes embarked on his journey with InsurEdge Group in February of 2024, recognizing that the opportunity of this career aligns with his dedication to support his family and future goals in life. Born and raised on his family's ranch in Emmett, ID, where they raised cattle, swine, and crops, Jeremy was instilled with a strong work ethic. His experience spans over a decade in the construction field. He contributed his skills to both private contractors as well as public municipalities. His focus encompassed a variety of pipeline infrastructure maintenance, rehabilitation, and management.
As a native Idahoan and being a part of a family with deep roots in the state, his appreciation for the community inspires his pursuit of assisting local companies. A pivotal bridge was forged, seamlessly connecting his background to the realm of property and casualty insurance. Realizing the potential to leverage his knowledge in safety practices acquired from the construction and agricultural industries, Jeremy discovered a profound synergy in aiding companies to proactively mitigate losses and effectively manage claims. He specializes in advising on a wide scale of industries, with a focus on construction and manufacturing. His unique perspective and diverse skills set position him as an asset to navigate the complexities of the insurance landscape.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Jeremy is an avid outdoorsman, as you can find him hunting, fishing, hiking, and exploring the amazing backcountry that Idaho has to offer. Joined by his girlfriend Brittany and loyal chocolate lab, Tucker, they enjoy adventurous journeys, new culinary experiences, and building new memories. Their shared dream is to build on the family's ranch and get back to the quiet country way of life that holds a special place in their hearts.

Leasa Stricklin
Leasa Stricklin is a dedicated individual whose life has been marked by compassion, service, and leadership. With 24+ years of experience in the insurance industry, Leasa has honed her expertise in providing financial security and peace of mind to countless individuals, families and businesses.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Leasa's heart for others shines through in her roles as a kidney donor and an exchange student host, Girl Scout Leader and community volunteer. Her selflessness and generosity have touched lives both locally and globally, exemplifying the power of empathy and human connection.
Married for 34 years, with one adult daughter (and countless “adopted” kids), Leasa finds strength and support in her family. Her marriage stands as a testament to enduring love and partnership, serving as a foundation for her life's endeavors.
Having grown up in Meridian, Idaho, Leasa loves the Idaho mountains and all the fun recreation they have to offer; from river rafter, camping, to skiing, hiking the foothills around the valley but most of all, spending time with her three dogs (one of which is blind)!
In every aspect of her life, Leasa Stricklin embodies integrity, kindness, and resilience, leaving a legacy of compassion and service that continues to inspire those around her.

Katrina Mclean
With over 20 years of experience in administration and accounting, Katrina Mclean is a seasoned professional known for her expertise in overseeing organizational operations and financial management. Currently serving as Administrator at InsurEdge
Prior to InsurEdge, Katrina Mclean held senior positions in both administration and accounting, where she successfully oversaw eight branches in four states. Her versatile skill set and ability to navigate both realms have earned her recognition as an asset to any organization.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Katrina Mclean is deeply rooted in her native Idaho, where she volunteered at the West Ada School District in classrooms as well as sports activities for over 18 years. As an avid UTV enthusiast, Katrina and her family love exploring Idaho's beautiful terrain, finding solace in the beauty of nature. Additionally, they find excitement in all things racing and creating cherished memories with their loved ones.
